Promising Principals Alumni Network
The Promising Principals’ Academy began as an initiative from the Maryland Governor, in 2014. There have been four cohorts of principals that have gone through the academy with a total of 195 participants completing the program. The Office of Leadership Development and School Improvement is committed to fostering the development, growth, and retention of effective leaders. The Promising Principals’ Alumni Network has been formed to continue to build the leadership skills of alumni school leaders around the state. The alumni will be provided with professional learning experiences, access to resources, a forum to share ideas in person and virtually, and additional customized resources based on the identified needs of the participants.
